Are you a planner? Do you love a good sheet of stickers? I love walking down the sticker aisle of my craft store looking for the perfect pack of stickers for my planner. We have introduced you to the Heidi Swapp Sticker Book that is now in independent online, brick and mortar, and Hobby Lobby stores! This book was an answer to a lot of my planner needs!
I want to share 5 tricks that helped me take stickers to the next level in my planner.
Use stickers to save time and space.
I love a good sticker book that will give me everything I need in one place! When in a hurry, I don’t want to dig to find that one sticker I need. The idea of working in a planner is to help me save time. The Heidi Swapp Sticker book has it all! In fact, in this double page spread all the decorating was done with this one sticker book!
Use stickers like washi tape.
I love a good roll of washi tape just like the next person, but when in a hurry I like the option to use a sticker to tape my memorabilia to my planner. The pick strip with the hearts in the photo above is just that! This created an interactive flap for more journaling and photos.
Add translucent stickers over regular stickers to get a layered look.
In the small space above, I added a label and then translucent work stickers with a clear floral sticker. Before I layer I write my lists or journaling. Then if the clear stickers hits the ink, you can still see the words.
Get bold with large stickers!
When there isn’t a lot going in a day, you didn’t take any photos, or you are sick add a large sticker that you love! You will end up loving the page more because of it! Add a transparent sticker over the top corner to make it look like it was printed on the page.
Overlay translucent word stickers on photos for a quick caption.
Add a fun caption and save space on your planner by adding clear word stickers to the top of a photo!
I hope this inspires you to think of your stickers creatively when building your planner page! You can find the Heidi Swapp Sticker Book now in Hobby Lobby stores.
