Welcome back to Minc It Monday, a weekly series to inspire you to use the Minc Foil Applicator in your everyday crafting! Today I am sharing a few ways to add foil accents to a scrapbook page using Heidi Swapp’s Hawthorne collection.
I love pulling the colors from my photos to inspire my embellishments! The snow inspired my title and the color I used to foil the Hawthorne Jumbo Letters. The letters are made from Kraft paper which gives the foil a textured look. To learn more about what papers to use in the Minc, check out this video I created.
The letters are a lot of fun! The drop shadow is the only part that will foil, so pick whatever color you love to accent them.
The Hawthorne Ephemera can be fun foiled or left as they are! Make sure to check out the paper insert inside the package to know which pieces can run inside the Minc and remember the heat settings – 1 for acetate and 3 for paper.
I had to use the layer stamps to create my own embellishment on the page.
Also the Foam Stickers are so much to foil! Just use the 0 heat setting for the perfect pressure (no heat needed) to press the foil down on the stickers.
I hope you are inspired to take your Minc to the next level with your paper embellishments! There are so many possibilities when foiling!
