get scrappin!

so as you know, janet and i have been hosting the "summer scrapbooking series" of webshows that each feature 3 scrapbook pages… our goal is to create a total of 50 scrapbook pages this summer…and we are well on our way!  hopefully, you are feeling inspired to scrapbook right along with us! really, there is NO EXCUSE not to play along! most of the ideas are hybrid, so even if you don't have a store right by you, you can download and print too!

tonight i shared 3 more pages… and featured a couple new kits from House of 3…….here are some images.. if you want more info and HOW TO, you can go HERE and watch the recorded version of tonight's LIVE webshow!

i used my Silhouette to cut the "Smiles are free" (avail on the silhouette store and also on H of 3) – on the webshow, i demonstrated how i used my Xyron to create this "hardcore glitter" effect.

i used the Summer strips as background elements and page tabs… i used the tabbed elements too! oh, and don't forget this definition sheet. love it.

i love how you can use unexpected color combos to pull this off to be GIRLIE or totally boy!

with this page, i pulled out the old "foam core" page techniques… it was fun to create shadow box page again- and i even came up w/ a new way to keep the book in place by only cutting a portion of the sheet protector… it was perfect…

i pretty much demonstrated this whole page on the Live Webshow tonight… you can check out exactly how to create something like this. it's easy-peasy!

i talked about THIS "house of 3 dingbat font"… i use it all the time

and the Summer Strips coordinate perfectly w/ these Clocks and Time cards... so much fuN!

whew. going to bed!! thanks to those of you who were on live tonight… it's always SO much fun…
