Happy Friday, everyone!
Today I’m sharing a peek inside my “one day at a time” 6×8 planner (found exclusively at Hobby Lobby stores)…
If you follow me on Instagram (@maggiemassey), you may remember that, at the beginning of 2017, I was planning on using my smaller, coil-bound, “one day at a time” planner to keep track of my DT/creative responsibilities/ventures.
At the time it seemed like the answer I was looking for…I had tried a half-dozen other planners to use with my work and nothing had quite fit the bill.
Well, like most of the best-laid plans…
…you know the rest.
It just didn’t work for me.
I really wanted it to…in fact, I did my best for 2 months trying to make it work for me.
So I gave up on it.
Now, that’s not to say I will never use that adorable little planner…it just didn’t work for the purpose for which I had intended it.
And that’s OK!
Because I’m on to trying something different…and I’m holding out A LOT of hope…
This larger, ring-bound planner may just be the answer I was looking for.
It’s a little different than most of Heidi’s new planners…
…let’s take a look inside.
At the start of each month, there is a page that gives you a little room to write down some thoughts on what’s to come.
Next up is the “Month-at-a-Glance” page (we’ll get to that in a minute).
Turn that page and you’ll find that you’re entire week is listed on one page – this is what the inside of the personal-sized notebook planner looks like, too…only on a larger scale.
And, opposite that page, is a to-do list and a place for notes.
THIS is what hooked me on this planner.
I LOVE that I can see an entire 7 days on one sheet. I’m a pretty visual person…so, with just a quick glance, I can see exactly how much needs to be done during that week.
And I DOUBLE LOVE that I can use this page for lists and for hashing out ideas.
In between each month there is a divider with an inspirational reminder…and every single one is just beautiful.
The one above is my favorite…
…and this one comes in a close second.
NOW…wanna see how I’ve set up my work planner for March?
I’m so excited about this…and I sooooo hope I’ve found a solution for keeping me more organized!
Remember when I mentioned the “Month-at-a-Glance” pages?
Well, here they are.
They are formatted just like the other large planners in the collection…and they leave just enough room for me to quickly fill in due-dates…
I’m using different colored highlighters to differentiate between my different responsibilities.
I love that, with just a quick glance, I can see which team’s projects are coming up…
The daily pages have been perfect so far, too.
And, because all of Heidi’s Memory Planner accessories coordinate with each other, I can add the extra sheets & notes (which come pre-hole-punched and ready to pop right into your planner!) easily!
And pockets inside the front cover make it easy for me to carry everything I need!
I’m really so excited about this planner…and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I’ve finally found “the one.”
Thank you so much for taking a look!
Don’t forget…make your planners work for YOU!
Trying to fit your life to your planner just doesn’t work as well…
