Have you noticed? Globes are all the rage! And they have been for some time. Lately, artists have been adding words and other decorative artistic elements to globes …. and it got my mind thinking!
On today’s episode of Create to Remember, I show you how I have used my Silhouette to cut out some vinyl letters to use as masks… it’s so fun to create personalize messages right onto the globes, and then use them as cool home dec pieces.
This one… I made for me! It says “I am a child of God” on one side, and “in His hands” on the other… I love this cute little globe I picked up from a little decorating store. I even printed out a scripture from Psalms that I love “be still and know that I am God”.
This second project I made to hang in Quincy’s room. She has one of those loft beds, and a cozy seating area underneath… the DREAM BIG globe looks awesome hanging under her bed… I think it will be fun to dangle other photos from it as well… it’s for sure a work in progress!
Just the idea of making my own masks using Silhouette + vinyl just gets my wheels turning! Click here to check out the new episode!
My ‘in His hands’ globe will be a project featured in my upcoming ‘signature series’ book by Northridge Media.
