I was wanting to update some of my gallery wall decor so I thought it would be fun to experiment with the MINC Reactive Mist and some photo frame matting to see (if what I had envisioned) could come to life.  Luckily my idea worked and now I want to share it with you all.  Trust me…it’s SUPER easy and looks fabulous!

So let’s talk supplies.

Create MINC Foiled Matting I @lindsaybateman for @heidiswappFor this project you will need the following:

*Photo frame with photo matting (I purchased my frame from IKEA but any frame with matting will work)

*MINC Reactive Mist

*MINC Machine

*MINC Transfer Folder & Craft Mat

*MINC Reactive Foil (pictured here is the Champagne)

*Desired art

*Scissors

To begin:

Lay your matting on a craft mat and spray on the Reactive Mist.

NOTE: You MUST allow the mist to fully dry before placing through your MINC machine.

Once your photo mat is fully dry, place inside a transfer folder and apply your desired colour of foil on top.

Insert your transfer folder into your MINC machine on heat setting 3.

Once the transfer folder has run through your machine, remove your foil to reveal your foiled matting.

Next up….the art!

Now, I have to say not only do the Memory Planners have amazing dashboard pages inside of them….but do you know they can also make the most beautiful accent home decor pieces?  These dashboards are from the Gold Heidi Swapp Memory Planner.  I just love them and I thought they would look beautiful framed and hung.

So once I placed my foiled matting back into my frames, I then added in the Memory Planner prints.
