It’s a most festive time of year. Decorating inside AND out is sure to be found at my house right now.
I adore having a front porch that gives curb appeal. While driving through neighborhoods it’s porches that get my attention first. I am always thinking about how to dress mine up. And this called for Heidi’s Halloween In Lights to create the festive feel I was hoping for.
To start I wanted to welcome visitors right at the door.
Michael’s Stores carries all the fun Halloween In Lights DIY…and still available is Heidi’s Gallery Wall essentials. I took one of the Faux Pallet Chipboard Signs and made a welcome sign using the Rust Distress Kit to alter it up all rough like. The Large Foam Alpha Stamps creates my greeting.
The Marquee Love Boo Kit includes these cutie little banners. Strung underneath the welcome sign gave the door just a tad more festivity. Am I right?
This little front porch vignette practically created itself. It started with the rest of the Marquee Love Boo Kit.
For the Boo letters, first I put all the lights and bulbs from the kit in place.
Next I hot glued skewers to the back of the letters.
…the letters could stick into the little hay bale.
The letters are all ready to greet any and all in a very festive manner. Super cute, super easy way to use those Marquee Lights.
Leaf garland has long been found as part of my autumn decoration all over my house. This time I added the Marquee Love Pumpkin Light Garland. It is intertwined among the leaves.
With eyes glowing these fun pumpkins are just what that leaf garland needed. How fun to have all these lights greet friends and family, and trick or treaters very soon.
Enjoy gathering all that you need to create this front porch at Michael’s Stores.
