Texture Paste Banner

Using Texture Paste and Stencils to create a Summer Banner I @lindsaybateman for @heidiswapp

I have to say that one of the BEST parts of summer for me personally are the photos.

There are SO many memories and moments to capture, and they are just FUN!  With that being said, I am always on the lookout for inventive new ways to celebrate these favourite moments of mine.

Today I want to share a simple way to use the Heidi Swapp Texture Pastes in conjunction with her white muslin fabric banners and stencils to create a gorgeous DIY banner for a summer photo display.

All of the supplies I am about to show are all now available at Michaels Stores. These are all part of the Heidi Swapp Gallery Wall collection.

I love that the texture pastes come in SO many colours.

It definitely makes it easy to match any colour scheme you are wanting to go with…however it also makes it SO hard to choose!

Below I created a quick back to basics tutorial showing just how easy it is to apply the Heidi Swapp Texture Paste to her banners using a variety of stencils.

So cool, right?!?  Aren’t the texture pastes just amazing?  The colours are beautiful, the dimension is stunning and the paste adheres beautifully to the fabric banners.

Once I completed my banners I used them to create a super fun “vintage-beachy” summer photo display showcasing some of my latest favourite Instax prints taken a few weeks ago at one of our local beaches.

I just love the shimmer and shine of the texture paste.  All of the different patterns and colours look amazing strung all together.

I love how you can achieve so many different looks, so simply!

The banners are so fun to layer, especially with other types of banner pieces from the Gallery Wall collection…such as these tassels.  I used Color Shine on the tassels….in Tea and Navy.  I adore the “beachy” feel these 2 colours give when used together.

Of course, no display would be complete without a little added touch from my Heidi Swapp Lightbox.  It really is just the best.
