Hey hey there!
Maggie here, with a little layout I just finished using Heidi’s new Pineapple Crush collection!
Here in the Midwest, the spring weather has been horrible!
It’s still FREEZING, snowy, blustery & awful…BUT the forecast is looking up slightly and I’m so excited for warm days near the water.
And I’m so looking forward to documenting our upcoming summer memories with the beautiful pieces from Pineapple Crush!
To create this page, I started by adding my photo to a piece of my favorite paper from this collection…the B-side of Flamingle. Those pindots!
Then I chose some of my favorite pieces of ephemera around my photo…tucking in a few behind the picture to add a little depth.
Next, I added a few stamps to my page.
I LOVE this stamp set! The designs are so varied and perfect, they can really be used for so many page themes.
I thought this “press pause” stamp fit so well with this still shot of my son mid-jump.
Next, I fussy-cut one of the flamingos (also from the Flamingle paper) and added it to the bottom of my page.
A few journaling strips help to hide the bottom of the flamingo’s legs…the part that was cut off in the paper design.
Finally, I added a few more little stamps (some leaves & flowers in beautiful, bright colors) and a couple of strips of washi to finish out this layout.
ACK! I really love the way this page turned out. The mix of colors & patterns is so fresh & summery!
Thank you so much for taking a look!
I really hope I’ve inspired you to grab some of your favorite summer photos and add a little Pineapple Crush to them!
